4 places to get a cup of coffee at the Indiana State Fair

In case you weren't aware the great Indiana State Fair is going on right now. (Aug. 7-23)

So just for fun and just for this week's edition of "What's in Ott, A's Latte'?"  I thought I would tell you 4 places to get a cup of coffee during the Indiana State Fair.  Now I know coffee is not what comes to mind when one thinks about a state fair.  You are probably thinking about the worlds largest boar, the giant cheese sculpture and fair wheel rides.  And when eating deep fried corn on the cob, smoked pig pattys and S'more Milk shakes you probably don't want to wash them down with a big slurp of coffee.  Especially in the middle of August in Indiana when the weather is extremely hot and humid.

But maybe.... just maybe.. you find yourself out there one morning while there is still a chill in the air before an early morning rain settles in and you find yourself wanting a cup of coffee.  Well here my Latte' drinking readers is a list of 4 places on the Indiana State Fair grounds where you can go to get your cup of Joe.

First up the State Fair Cafe'.  This place is open year round on the fairgrounds and offers, all kids of specialty coffee's as well as baked goods and deli items.
Close to the swine barn is a food vendor that sells several breakfast items like giant cinnamon rolls and sells a cup of coffee.
Across from the grandstand is our 3rd spot to get a cup of coffee from a burrito food vendor.  They offer  burrito's for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Lastly, the Murat VCM offers breakfast each day starting at 6 am and they serve coffee as well.
And remember 2015 is the Year of the Farmer at the Indiana State Fair.  In Indiana 83 percent of the land is devoted to farming and forests.  Agriculture in Indiana is a $16 billion industry and employs one out of six people.  There are banners and crops around the fair featuring many of the state's farmers so you can learn a little more about what they do to produce the food on your table each day.
