Crock Pot Hawaiian Chicken

Supper time can be super easy with this recipe out of Gooseberry Patch's Mom Knows Best Cookbook for Hawaiian Chicken made in the crock pot.  Pineapple and soy sauce marinate your chicken breast in the slow cooker all day.  Simply fix some couscous and a vegetable and you have a great tasting meal with a minimal amount of work.
1 lb. chicken breast
8 oz. can pineapple chunks
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 cup couscous, uncooked
1. Place chicken in a greased slow cooker.
2. Add pineapple with juice, pepper flakes, onion powder, brown sugar and soy sauce.
3. Cover and cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours.
4. 30 minutes before serving, prepare couscous as directed on package.
Serves 4.
