Cheeseburger Crescent Rolls

I'm all about having a diverse selection of meals to make for quick weeknight dinners.  I like to make things that are familiar but made different ways just to keep our dinner table menu diverse.  So last night I made a Cheeseburger Crescent Rolls.  There are 5 ingredients in this recipe and can be made relatively cheap.  So your stomachs will be full, but your wallet won't be empty.

I bought 1 lb. of hamburger for $2.99, a tube of refrigerator crescent rolls for $1.89, a package of shredded cheese for $2.50 and then used ketchup and relish which I already had in my refrigerator.  So for less than $2.00 a serving I fed a family of 4.

Ingredients: 1 lb. ground beef (browned and drained), 1 roll of refrigerator crescent rolls, 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided), 1/4 cup relish, 1/2 cup ketchup.
Directions:  Add ketchup and relish to browned ground beef over medium heat.  Add 1 cup cheese.  Stir until well mixed and just starting to melt and pour into a greased 8 inch pie plate.  Place crescent rolls on top with points in the center so top is completely covered.  Sprinkle 1/2 cup cheese on top and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until crescent rolls are golden brown and cheese is melted.  Serves 4.
