The Best Blondies

I was in the mood for something sweet, so I thought I would flip through Gooseberry Patch's 101 Cupcake, Cookie & Brownie Recipes and stumbled upon a recipe for "the Best Blondies".  Well if they are the "Best" then they have to taste good.... right?!?!  So I set out to make these blondies and changed out chopped pecans and toffee baking bits for peanut butter chips and chocolate chips (mainly because that's what was in my cabinets).  As I type up this blog post 3/4 of the pan has been eaten... so I think it's safe to say they taste great and are "the Best Blondies"!!!

Ingredients:  1 cup butter, melted, 2 c. brown sugar, packed, 2 eggs, beaten, 2 tsp. vanilla, 2 cups flour, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 cup peanut butter chips, 1 cup chocolate chips.

Directions:  In a large bowl, mix together butter and brown sugar.  Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth.  Stir in flour, baking powder and salt; mix in remaining ingredients.  Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan and spread evenly. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes, until set in the middle.  Cool in pan before cutting into bars.
