hot days are good for the garden

It has been hot here this week in central Indiana, and while the heat makes it almost unbearable to be outside it is good for my garden.  Here are some pictures updating the progress our garden has made.
I have this large pepper growing and getting so big that it's causing the plant to lean, so I'm hoping it will finish filling out and I can pick it soon.
Above are little acorn squash starting to form and below are tomatoes forming.

I've already had two harvests of green beans and look to get my third tonight.  Below you can see my carrots are starting to take off.
And lastly, I was thrilled to see one of my Sunflowers bloom.  You may call it a weed, but in my garden they are welcomed!!!
