Spring Projects in our yard

We've been working on a couple of projects out in our yard the past couple of weeks, so I thought I'd share and practice my photography skills at the same time since flower pictures can always make your day.
We landscaped another section of the house.
There is a weeping crab apple tree on the corner, then we used burning bush, forsythia, a magnolia, some spirea and some birds-nest blue spruce.

Then we put shutters on our house as I thought it would make the house look cuter and give it some curb appeal.  So below left you will see our house when we bought it and below right you can see what it looks like now.

Here is the magnolia in our landscape; budded and then blooming.
Our red bud tree in bloom.
Another crab  apple tree out in our front yard.
A tulip that blooms in a "peony" like style.
I like the contrast in colors and focus in these pictures as I played around with my zoom & lens.
And lastly, MacchiOTTo waits patiently in the stroller near our pink dogwood tree while I took all these pictures.
