Here is a quick appetizer for your Thanksgiving guests to enjoy. A chex mix that uses all the spices in a pumpkin pie. The spices in this mix give the snack a fall like flavor and your kitchen will smell amazing while it bakes in the oven. The pecans in this mix are a nice addition, and when you put a bowl of this Pumpkin Pie Crunch Chex Mix your guest are sure to stay happy while waiting on the big meal.
Ingredients: 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup margarine, 2 tsp. cinnamon, 1 tsp. nutmeg, 1/2 tsp. ground cloves, 1/2 tsp. allspice, 3 tsp. vanilla, 2 cups Cinnamon Chex, 3 cups Rice Chex, 3 cups Corn Chex, 1 cup chopped pecans
Directions: In a small bowl mix brown sugar and spices. Melt margarine and stir in vanilla. In a large bowl combine chex cereals. Mix margarine mixture to sugar and spice mixture. Pour over cereals and stir to coat. Spread onto two foil-covered cookie sheets. Bake at 250 degrees for one hour stirring every 15 minutes. Cool on waxed paper.
