Pumpkin Hair Bows

With Halloween being right around the corner, MacchiOTTo has several orange outfits to wear this fall to keep her festive, so of course she needed a hair accessory to match.  Here is a little pumpkin hair clip I made for her.
I used a hot glue gun to glue a black ribbon to a simple hair clip.  Then I took a thin orange ribbon and coiled it in 4 circles, making each circle a little bigger than the one before it and putting a little dab of glue at the top each time to help hold the circles in place.

Next I did the same thing only smaller with a thin green ribbon.  I made two of these with the same piece of ribbon so one could serve as the stem and the other as a leaf.  I then tied the green ribbon to the orange ribbon in the center, and applied another dot of glue to hold it in place.  I then placed some glue on one side of the stem and pumpkin and stuck it to the hair clip.
As you can see below MacchiOTTo is modeling her new hair accessory for you so she is now all set for fall!!!

Very clever! I could never keep bows in the girls' hair at that age.
