headband holder

MacchiOTTo has a lot of hair accessories. So many that the drawer we were keeping them in was getting pretty full and I was getting tired of having to dig through them all to find the one I wanted.  So I emptied out an Oatmeal Canister and made this headband holder.  It's really simple to make and I can set this on her dresser and easily see just the headband I was looking for.
Now, her hair clips are a different story.  Those I took an old ribbon board that I had photos on and clipped the hairbows on it.  I went ahead and hung this on the wall above the changing table so I have easy access to them when I need one.

But back to the head bands.  Here is the canister that used to hold Oatmeal.  I took the wrapper off and wiped out the inside good.
I then got a piece of scrapbook paper, a pair of scissors and some double sided tape.
I wrapped the scrapbook paper around the canister using the tape to adhere the paper to it.  Then I cut off any excess paper that hung over the edge.
A couple of her headbands were a little too big to fit on the canister so those I just dropped inside the canister so they are still all together.
