Ingredients: 1 T. onion flakes, 1 cup apricot preserves, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup BBQ sauce, 1/4 cup vinegar, 2 T. Worchester Sauce, 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes, 3-4 lb. pork loin roast.
Directions: Combine ingredients in a small bowl. Place roast in a greased crock pot. Pour ingredient mixture over roast. Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours. Remove roast from liquid and place on a cutting board. Shred meat with a fork and serve.
We went ahead and poured additional BBQ sauce on the meat as a condiment before eating our sandwiches. They taste great just plain too. And I love that my crock pot did all the work for me.

This sounds great! It will be a great trade-up from the crock pot pork recipe I've been using: 1 package taco seasoning and 1 cup water. Makes excellent shredded pork tacos, but something new is definately due!
the apricot preserves got me. that and the pork. ;)
You had me at apricot! I love apricot with pork, and the other ingredients sound delicious too. Your recipe sounds wonderfu, and I like that it can be made in the slow cooker too.
This looks yummy, I would never have thought of apricots before! You should come over to my site http://theharriedmom.com for my Crock Pot Buddies blog hop and link up this fab recipe. I do it every Thursday...
