I started with an artificial evergreen wreath I bought after Christmas for $1 at WalMart. I then went to the craft store and bought some wooden letters, a cut out wooden football and blue and yellow ribbon. These items cost me about $4.
I painted the letters X L V I (the roman numerals of this years super bowl) blue with some acrylic paint I had on hand.
I then took a blue ribbon and a yellow ribbon with blue and green circles on it and proceeded to wrap it around the wreath. I just did a quick wrap around because I knew I would be arranging the branches and could readjust the ribbons placement later.
After the paint dried on the letters I attached them to the wreath with a hot glue gun.
I also used the glue gun to attach a wooden cut out of a football on the wreath as well.
Lastly I made a bow with the ribbon and tied that in the upper left corner of the wreath. I then fluffed the wreath branches and rearranged some of the ribbons and I was all set to hang the wreath on our front door.

Very cute! Wish there were some "Saintly" colors in there somewhere! Gotta love that Black and Gold!
