It case you've been out of the loop; Ott, E and I are expecting and it's Day 4 of "Pregnancy Week" here on a Latte' with Ott, A. Today I'm sharing what exercises I do while being pregnant. I try to walk a mile a day. Granted with winter weather approaching there are a few days this is hard to accomplish. But, along with walking I also do 3-4 days a week of Prenatal Yoga. I have been doing yoga off and on for a couple of years now, so after we found out I was pregnant I went out and bought a DVD for Prenatal Yoga. I find the stretching I do during the Yoga works wonders on all my achy joints and back pain caused by the growing baby. Yoga is also good for relieving stress and aiding in digestion. Just 15-30 minutes a day, and I feel much more relaxed and comfortable with my changing body.
But, why not be fashionable while you work out, right?!?!?! Well the Folks at For Two Fitness have a line of active wear for expectant mothers and they sent me a "Yoga for Two" maternity fitness tank to review as part of my "Pregnancy Week" Celebration.
I wore this tank with a pair of pink yoga pants and the material of this top is ideal for working out. It is gather on both sides the legnth of the top so there is plent of room for your growing belly. It has a raser back and overall has a great fit and feel to it. (And of course the two hearts on the belly are really cute too.)
The tank moves and bends as you do. And when your at the gym you'll look super cute and be the envy of the other pregnant mommy's in your yoga class. The only thing I would maybe change about this top was possibly having a built in sports bra in the top. Although I realize that may be harder to size, I luckly had a sports bra with a razer back so it fit underneath the top without showing.
For Two Fitness has several different sayings on their maternity fitness tops to choose from to match whatever pregancy workout routine you have. They also several different colors to choose from and great looking maternity fitness pants.
All pictures and opinions shared on this blog are my own and I would like to thank For Two Fitness for sponsoring this review. Please feel free to follow them on facebook and twitter (@ForTwoFitness) to learn more about their line and find out about some of their upcoming sales.
