Crock Pot: Apricot Glazed Chicken

I have fixed this recipe several times when you know you have company coming over, but you don't quite know what time they will arrive. Crock pot's work great in these type of situations as they keep your entre' warm and allow for some variance in cooking times. This recipe for Apricot Glazed Chicken taste great and will leave your guest thinking you are the perfect dinner hostess.
This recipe calls for 4 simple ingredients.

4-6 chicken breasts, 1 cup apricot jam, 1 package dry Onion Soup mix and 1 cup Catalina or French Salad Dressing.  Mix the jam, soup mix, and salad dressing together and pour over chicken.  Cover and cook for 6-8 hours on low.
Serve with some vegetables and you have one super easy, yet super delicious meal that will leave your guest asking for seconds.

I love using my crock pot for company meals! I've made a similar dish in the oven - but never tried it in the slow cooker. Great idea!

I do something similar. But try this next time- mix the French with equal parts Worshishire (sp?) sauce and then pour over the apricot & chicken. Now you have a sweet & sour apricto chicken!
