Somewhat similar in taste to the cheddar bay biscuits they serve at Red Lobster, this recipe is easy to make and utilizes a bread machine (which you all know as one of my all time favorite kitchen appliances.)
Ingredients:
1 1/2 tsp. Red Star active dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
4 tsp. butter softened
1/2 c. sour cream
3 T. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. bread flour
Directions:
Heat water until 110 to 115 degrees. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add sugar. Pour into bread machine pan and add other ingredients in order listed. Select dough cycle. When cycle is completed, turn dough out onto a flour surface. Cover and let rise for 10 minutes.
1/2 c. butter, melted
3 T. dried, minced onion
2 tsp. granulated garlic
Place in a greased pan. Sprinkle with 1 1/2 cup shredded Colby jack cheese.
Cover and let rise for 45 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, until golden.
I liked this recipe because the bread machine does all the work for you. Ott, E liked this recipe because the bread made nice sized rolls to have with dinner and had great flavor.

How can you go wrong with cheesy, garlic bread?! It looks delicious!
You've inspired me to drag out the bread machine--those look amazing!
These look really good! Unfortunately yeast is not my friend. The last time I tried baking with yeast my cinnamon buns were a flop. But it's probably time to try again. After all, practice makes perfect!
I love this bread, however not yet done in home. thanks for sharing the recipe with Hearth and soul blog hop. sure i will try this one.
Looks Yummy! I have my yeast, but not sure I am going to make the deadline. Tomorrow is my only window. We will see what the Good Lord throws my way between 10:00 and 2:00!
I do love my bread machine! And bread with cheese...can't go wrong! Thanks for hosting the challenge! It gave me the excuse I've 'needed' to make pumpkin yeast bread :D
This looks great! Yum!
My mom used to make something like this with jalapenos every Christmas. MMMM
I love that you can make the dough for this in the bread machine! Your cheesy garlic bread sounds fantastic. Thank you for sharing it with the Hearth and Soul hop.
