The bird bath is a trash to treasure project I worked on as the previous owner left behind a stand for a gazing ball (that's the base) and the bath is actually the bottom rim of a flower pot they left behind as well. I spray painted them both a nutmeg color and super glued them together and wa-la instant bird bath.
Right now I have these beautiful yellow day lilies blooming, but I have planted Iris's, phlox and tulips in this bed. I hope to add lots more varieties of perennials over time.
I have a humming bird feeder on a wrought iron shepherds hook as well as a thistle feeder and suet feeder in this garden as well. We have had a pair of humming birds buzz around so we are really excited to see them.
This is a solar light we have at the edge of the garden. It provides some decor and light in the evening. And of course a steppin' stone to remind me that I need to stay on top of the weeds while I'm out there admiring my flowers.

That is very cute! You'll have more birds than you can keep happy before long. I have to fill up my hummingbird feeders, all 3, everyday.
Very pretty! With all the rain we have been having, the weeds are going to keep us all busy! Good luck!

If I was a bird this would be a favorite hangout! Love the trash to treasure bird bath and your daylily is beautiful!
I like the style of your solar light! The Garden of Weedin' stepping stone is not only purposeful but adds humour to the garden bed, which is lovely. Very nice.
Oh, what a lovely spot! For the birds, to savor a cup of morning coffee, or to relax with a glass of lemonade - or chardonnay - late in the afternoon. I love it!
ohh that looks so nice! what a great idea about putting the mulch and flowers down to make the mowing easier

Love it! Great to see your reusing and repurposing of the items left behind at your house, too. :-) It's really a lovely area, I sure hope you see some more birds, now!
