plOTTing & planting: through this wet spring

Photobucket
Even though we have had a very rainy spring our garden is growing! If you'll recall we planted blue adirondack potatoes, spinach, lettuce and kola rabi. And as you will see in the picture below the potatoes are up.

And so are out spring greens (spinach, lettuce and other assorted greens).
The kola rabi is up as well.
And surprisingly we have a couple of volunteer sunflowers that have popped up as well.  While some may consider them weeds, they won't be pulled in our garden but left there and encouraged to grow as I love sunflowers!!!

Okay, so I am extremely jealous that your potatoes are up. I planted mine a few weeks ago and the hubs dug one up the other day and he said it was mushy. I'm afraid with all the rain, we may not have potatoes this year. Fingers crossed!
