more fun things to make with my pretzel recipe

Earlier this week I posted a recipe for soft pretzels. While I was making the pretzels I played around a little with dough and made some different things that were fun to make and yummy to eat.  I thought I would share them with you to give you some additional inspiration if you choose to make my recipe for soft pretzels.

Firstly I made pretzels in the shape of bunnies.


To do this I rolled the dough into a 24 inch rope.  Then I made a U shape with the dough and twisted the ends twice at the tops.  Lastly, I took a small ball of dough and placed that in the circular part to form the body of the rabbit.

I also used this dough to make a type of hot pocket.

I rolled the dough out and sprinkled cheese and pepperoni on top. Then I folded the end of the dough over, and was sure to press down on the ends to seal them. Then I baked just like I would the pretzels and had a fun snack.
