plOTTing and planting: Tulips & Pheasant Eyes

I have had tulips blooming for a while now and have more budded up and getting ready to bloom. So today I am sharing some pictures.

These are a type of Daffodil called a Pheasant Eye.

Just beautiful!! I do love tulips but don't have too much luck with them here in Texas.

Beautiful colors. Here in Michigan we're still waiting for Spring. The greens of the irises and tulips are up, but no color other than that yet. Enjoy

I realized why I was not seeing any flowers blooming when I found the bag of tulip BULBS I dug up last year before the remodel and never put back in the ground! DUH! I have a few mid bloomers getting ready. I think we call your Pheasant Eyes by the name Narcissus. The old English teacher in me likes the mythological reference, but by any name (a nod to Mr. Will Shakespeare), these are beautiful flowers! Thanks for sharing.
