This recipe is one I tweaked myself and made in my new stand mixer. I used a white whole wheat flour in the this recipe since they claim whole wheat is heathly. I will admit it the addition of the tomato flakes gave the pasta a great taste and compliments any pasta sauce very nicely. Here is the recipe that I created.

After feeding the pasta dough through my pasta maker attachment, I layed it out on a drying rack for 10 minutes before cutting into 2 inch squares. (I also love the look of the red tomato flakes throughout the pasta.)
I then added my ravioli filling (spinach, cheese and chicken).
Next I sealed the edges of the ravioli with a little water and then press the top layer of pasta into the bottom.Lastly I crimped the edges of the ravioli with a fork.
Drop the ravioli into a pot of boiling water for 7-8 minutes. Pour spaghetti sauce over ravioli and serve.

Home made pasta....that is one thing I've yet to attempt. Yours looks fabulous! I have the same mixer but don't have the pasta attachment yet...trying to find it sold seperately instead of in a kit of three attachments. Love that you dehydrated your own tomatoes:)
I would love to learn how to do this!
That's a great idea, incorporating tomato into the pasta itself! What a double whammy of flavour! I made sourdough pasta a while ago, including sourdough pumpkin raviolis, and had so much fun and this looks liek a great idea to try when I make them again! thanks!

I have wanted to make my own pasta for AGES... thanks for the reminder! These look amazing.
So who won Iron Chef Challenge. I looked yesterday and nothing was up?
Lovely - dried tomatoes have SO many applications. I can only imagine the flavor punch they added to your ravioli....mmmmm!
Thanks for linking to the Hearth 'N Soul Hop ;)
I love making home made pasta ... there's always that hesitation as it's so easy to just buy it but in the end it's always worth while. I really like how you combined the dried tomatoes in the dough.
what a yummy post! i have one of those mixers but mine didn't come with that attachement. way to go for taking the time to make your own pasta. i am sure it is delic!
I am totally INSPIRED by your homemade food. I don't have the pasta attachment but I'm not sure I'd have the patience for it either. :) Dehydrating tomatoes...I think I can handle that! Love it.
