March's Iron Chef Challenge will be canned tomatoes sponsored by Red Gold

Did you know the state of Indiana ranks second in tomatoes grown for processing???  They do!

And, did you know that Red Gold is located in Indiana????  They are!

What better sponsor and themed ingredient for March's Iron Chef Challenge than Red Gold canned tomatoes?!?!?!?

Starting March 18th and running through the 25th you can link up your recipes which call for using any canned tomato products and join in the fun of this months contest. Perhaps you have a go to family favorite, that's quick and easy to whip up on those busy nights after work and school.  Or maybe you have a delicious family recipe passed down through the years that you use in your kitchen for those special family get-togethers.  Well now's your chance to share it and win! Are you up for the challenge?

March's Sponsor will be Red Gold, and the guest Judge will be Linda Wallace.  Linda helped make Red Gold history in 1998 when she became their first Home Economist. In this role, she lives a foodie’s dream, creating recipes for all tastes that feature Red Gold products. Her hours of testing and refining have resulted in more than 450 recipes (and growing!) available online, as well as an award-winning cookbook, “Heartwarming Recipes for the Busy Cook.” When she needs a break from the kitchen, you can find her moderating Red Gold’s Facebook page or Twitter feed (@redgoldtomatoes).

Married for more than 45 years, Linda has two grown children. One of her greatest joys these days is the time she spends with her two granddaughters. Linda also enjoys gardening, giving back to her community through numerous volunteering opportunities, and supporting her peers in Consumer Science.

Linda will be judging the blog posts based on the most delicious recipe, mouth watering photos, and entertaining write-up.

Prize: The winning recipe will recieve a Red Gold Cook book.
Rules: Please post the March "Iron Chef Challenge" Red Gold Badge in the blog post that you link up. (Code found in the sidebar of this blog.) All posts must include recipes and must include canned tomatoes.

Be sure to check out the Red Gold on Facebook and on Twitter for lots of recipes and tips on using Red Gold Products. Then come back here and link up and show off your lovely recipe which includes canned tomatoes!!!!

Thanks for inviting me to participate!
I am sharing my recipe for Zucchini Lasagna. It is gluten free and really healthy because zucchini takes the place of lasagna noodles.
