The day after Thanksgiving, while some people are out shopping I was at home getting out my Christmas decorations. So of course my trees are decorated, the lights are on my porch outside, my Christmas cards are addressed, most of my gifts are purchased and there are Christmas cookies in the oven baking. As I sit in my living room looking around at my tree and festive holiday mantel, I reminisce about back when I was a teenager and used to help my grandparents get their farmhouse all decorated for Christmas. Today I am guest posting over on the
Indiana Family of Farmers blog, so be sure to stop and read about one of my favorite December memories.
For today's post, I will show you the lights on the outside of our house.
These cute little trees line the sidewalk and light the way to our front porch.
And Ott, E's reindeer greets everyone at the front door.
Be sure to drop by for a Latte' next week as I will be showing off my Christmas trees and decorations on the inside of my house. Until then I hope you are getting all ready for the holidays at your house and are staying warm and cozy.

You have a lovely home and I love your Christmas decorations. It's so Christmassy.
Following you from "Boost my blog Friday." I hope you can visit my home too.
That reindeer is simply adorable!
you are so ahead of me. We have the tree up and most of the shopping done. OH yeah, the porch is done too. I need to bake this weekend and do some more wrapping. The cards are a must this weekend too. Yup, you're way ahead of me. Your entry way is very festive.
Beautiful! Your snow is great! We don't have any yet. And the storm that was supposed to hit tomorrow is probably just going to bring rain. It's 50 degrees here today. :)
