crock pOTT lasagna

This is another one of those crock pot recipes that I got really excite about when I found.  I never thought of fixing lasagna in a crock pot, but once I did I thought it was the quickest, easiest and tastiest lasagna recipe ever.  I mean it cooks right in your crock pot.  Ott, E is a huge fan of how it taste and I am a huge fan of how easy it is to make.  Simply layer your ingredients in the crock pot; turn and a cook for 3.5-4.5 hours on low and then enjoy.

Of course I used my own homemade canned pasta sauce and then Red Gold for my tomato sauce.  I like to use Red Gold products because they have such a great taste and they are processed right here in Indiana.  You may not know this but Indiana ranks 2nd in tomatoes grown for processing.

Arrange the lasagna noodles to cover the layer in the crock pot.
 Recipe:
1 lb. browned hamburger
1 can tomato sauce
1 can pasta sauce
1 can Alfredo sauce
2 cups mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
uncooked lasagna noodles

Spray crock pot with no-stick cooking spray.  Place 1/2 cup of tomato sauce in bottom of crock pot.  Place lasagna noodles on top sauce to cover bottom.  Sprinkle 1/3 meat, 1/3 Alfredo and 1/3 mozzarella cheese on top.  Then repeat that pattern two more times topping off with remaining tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese.
Turn crock pot on LOW and cook for 3.5 - 4.5 hours.  Serve and enjoy.  Yield: 8 servings.

I have had one of those little crock post in the past, but did not like the taste of the food cooked in it. I am sure it was just me. I am certain they are much better now. This sounds so good makes me want to buy another one.

You mean that you don't have to cook the lasagna noodles? Do they need to be the special no-cook ones or would regular ones work? I've got this one bookmarked to try! This would be perfect to throw together for a potluck or to have cooking while I'm shopping!

Love, love, love that this recipe does not use ricotta cheese, which I just can't do, and which always keeps me from making lasagna. Thanks for sharing!

I never in a million years would have thought to make lasagne in the crock pot. But why not, I make practically every other meal in there. I also think this might be great in the electric skillet I just inherited. Thanks for linking to the Hearth and Soul hop.

This is my favorite dish to make on a really busy day. My kids simply love it. To make it a lot more easier, I use macaroni noodles instead. I've tried using bow tie pasta, too, the kids had fun with that one, lol! Whenever I'm running late to make the whole dinner thing, I simply put out my crockpot and make lasagna! :)

Hello! I found this recipe of yours at the Crock Pot Recipe Exchange. I have some questions, though. (I am so *not* a wing-it kind of cook!) Is that an 8 oz. can of tomato sauce I see in the picture? And the cans of pasta sauce and Alfredo sauce ... do I use the can from the aforementioned tomato sauce as a measuring cup of sorts? Thanks!
