i canned a whole lOTT of potatoes, now i'm making salmon chowder

This will be our last edition of "I canned a whole lOTT, now I'm baking in my Bistro" for awhile.  With the holidays approaching we know everyone will be busy soon with lots of different activities, so we will take a break to focus on that.  But for this week I bring you a recipe for something that utilizes the potatoes and carotts I canned.
The recipe will give you directions on how to make this on your stove top, but I put everything in the crock pot before church Sunday morning and by the time we came home it was all set to go.

This Salmon Chowder is sure to warm you up on these cool fall nights and give you your needed omega-3 fatty acids.

Be sure to check out Jen's blog, From Mess Hall to Bistro, for other ideas on what to make with items you canned.

Salmon is so healthy. Putting it in a chowder is a great idea.

Wow, this one really looks like a winner to me, I'm bookmarking it for sure. If we can manage to go salmon snagging this year (and can them!), this will be a very handy recipe to have. Thanks for sharing with the Hearth and Soul hop.
