christmas phOTTo cards

As I've talked about on this blog several times Ott, E and I like to travel and take a lot of pictures while we are out and about.  One of the places we show off our pictures is in our annual Christmas Card.  Last year Ott, E and I made our Christmas Cards on-line through shutterfly.com
I like using Shutterfly for a lot of reasons!  It's a user friendly website to work with and makes downloading your pictures quick and easy.  Their designs are really cute, and several allow more than one picture to be used. (when you take as many pictures as Ott, E and I do, it's hard to narrow it down to just one) Their cards also allow you to be able to create your own text, so on the inside of the card I can explain where each picture for taken.  To the left is a copy of our card from last year where you can see us at Disney and on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.

They were such high quality cards and we got so many nice compliments on them that I wanted to do use Shutterfly again this year to show off our pictures from Alaska.

Recently Shutterfly released their new Holiday cards and I was so excited to see they have enhanced the inside of the cards with additional images, pictures and places for your own text.  I find this so handy, because how many times do you get Holiday photo cards with a picture of a family and you have no idea where the picture was taken, how old their kids are now, or what they have all been up to for the past year.  With shutterfly's design and layout there is plenty of space for you to share all of that information and more.  And if you're not into pictures don't worry they have some really cute Christmas cards Or, if you run out of time before Christmas and want to keep the holiday sesaon going there is still time to get New Year’s cards out in the mail.

So far I have found three designs I really like.  (Please note these are examples of the layouts and not pictures of us.)

The Lovely Leaves Story 5x7 folded card. I like the black, white and red design on the front and the way this same design is carried over on the inside of the card as well.

Paper Snowflakes Christmas 5x7 folded card  I like the snowflakes on this card and the way the entire front is used to showcase your picture.

Sweet Holly Story Christmas 5x7 folded card  I love the inside of this card as it allows you to place 4 more pictures and room for text to tell everyone where you've been.

Now all I have to do is pick out my pictures and I'll be all set.
