our alaskan trOTT: Day 4 - train to Fairbanks

On our fourth day in Alaska we had somewhat of a lazy morning hanging around our cabin which was along the Nenana river and had a great view.

By mid-morning we made our way back to the entrance of Denali park and hiked around on the Taiga trail, where we saw some Moose tracks.
Then we had lunch at the Salmon Bake.

Then we got on the train and traveled for 4 hours to Fairbanks, Alaska.  The tracks followed the Nenana River for the most part, so of course the scenery was yet again, great.

This is the train station in Fairbanks.

Ott A - Thanks for stopping by my blog. Here is the comment I posted, but I wanted to get it to you just in case you didnt' read it on my blog comments.

I love canning! So addicting to see the literal "fruits" of your labor in a jar on the shelf. I WILL stop by as I try to learn more and try more.
